Lakeview Cottage offers self-contained, heritage accommodation at Oatlands, in the Tasmanian Midlands. Oatlands is a one-hour drive north of Hobart (84 km) and a one-hour-and-twenty-minute drive south of Launceston (117 km). Built in 1827, Lakeview's original sandstone cottage has been fully restored and refurbished. The property can accommodate up to ten guests and features a wood fire, underfloor and gas heating and electric heating in each of the bedrooms. Lakeview Cottage also has a fully-equipped, modern kitchen and laundry, a bathroom with a luxurious bath and new beds and linen. You can explore the Lakeview property's historic buildings including the stables, barn and shearing shed - which once housed a family of ten in the loft.
