The Glider City Motel is located in the main street of Benalla, 500 metres from the Gliding Club of Victoria and the Benalla Performing Arts and Convention Centre. There are thirteen ground floor units available, each one with tea and coffee making facilities and toasters.
The Glider City Motel offers a spacious group barbecue area, trailer and truck parking, an in-ground swimming pool and spacious attractively landscaped grounds. The motel is bicycle friendly with secure bike storage available.
Rooms are very spacious with spa suites, single, twin or family rooms. Breakfasts are delivered to rooms and all rooms have split system reverse cycle airconditioning.
While staying at the Glider City Motel, visit the Sir Weary Dunlop Rose Gardens, Benalla Performing Arts Centre, Winton Motor Raceway or stroll around Lake Benalla. The Art Gallery, Costume and Pioneer Museum and produce markets are also close by. The newly developed Winton Wetlands is also an interesting place to explore.
Groups are welcomed, with packages available with North East Vineyard (day time) Tours (except 17 to 26 July - already fully booked), for groups of up to 12 people.
Motor racing enthusiasts can also be catered for, who may wish to partake of a V8 Race Hot Lap Package. Father's Day 2015 is the next one on the V8 Supercar race calendar at Winton Motor Raceway. Smaller groups or couples are also most welcome.
