Lorne Bush House Cottages & Eco Retreats are a delightful blend of bush and beach, nestled amongst the gum trees of Lorne's forested backdrop, yet only three minutes drive to the Great Ocean Road, magnificent beaches, cosmopolitan restaurants and Lorne's bustling shopping village.
A variety of accommodation is on offer here:
- two bedroom fully self contained cottages with double spa, wood fire and panoramic views;
- the four bedroom Bush House for the extended family or for two or more families to share. All on the one level, the Bush house has a cosy, colonial feel, is set amongst the gum trees and is clad in corrugated iron and adorned with a few relics of past years;
- Eco Retreats are perfect for the experience seekers. They offer classy camping in a canvas covered steel frame on elevated floors, with a deluxe bed, private ensuite, kitchenette, LCD TV, electric heating, BBQ & deck with great bush views.
A feature of the property is the abundant friendly native birds and wildlife. Kangaroo are frequently seen grazing in front of the cottages and retreats and koala seen in the trees.
Just for fun there is a yabby dam for fishing, an adventure ropes course a volleyball area and a walking track around the property.
Lorne Bush House Cottages & Eco Retreats also have a very special site for a marquee wedding with a fantastic view of Loutit Bay, the Lorne pier and township. Weddings here are a minimum two day affair with self catering and accommodation on site for special guests.
