Cathedral Valley Farm is set on 150 acres with spectacular views of the Cathedral Ranges, 110 kilometres from Melbourne between the Yarra Valley and the High Country.
The original farmhouse has been converted to two self-contained suites, plus a central sitting room with a wood fire and a library of books, DVDs and CDs and Wifi. Each suite has reverse cycle air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, spa room and decks with a gas barbecue. The four bedrooms have en-suites and king-size beds that can be configured as twin singles, providing accommodation for eight people.
The accommodation and amenities are designed, mainly, for adults. The farm is a working one, breeding Murray Grey cattle. Meet and enjoy the company of the menagerie of animals in the barnyard, from horses to ponies, alpacas, lambs, chickens and ducks and a peacock called Andrew.
Children are more than welcome to feed the chooks. The view to the ranges looks out over the water and there is a dingy and swimming in the dam.
Just a short drive to Marysville, Lake Mountain snowfields and Lake Eildon, the farm is an ideal retreat for couples, groups of friends, families, skiers, bushwalkers, bike riders, artists groups, business planning sessions or wedding venue.
