Bowhill is a small riverfront settlement not far from Mannum which is popular with watersport enthusiasts. There are several riverside shacks available for rent. The area has a boat ramp and jetty, camping and picnic area with playground, public toilets and telephone. The Bowhill General Store offers food, fuel (including gas), alcohol and souvenirs as well as fishing and watersport supplies. The Lowan Conservation Park is only 13 Kilometres south-east of Bowhill and with its Mallee scrub and grey cypress pines is a great place for bird watching.
