Cycling in Batemans Bay is a scenic, family friendly experience as the cycleway is mainly flat, hugging the bay.
At the suggested starting point in Batehaven at Corrigans Beach, there are great facilities including picnic tables and barbecues and plenty of parking so that when you return you can take a dip in the calm beach waters and then enjoy a picnic lunch. If you're too puffed, then simply walk across the road to enjoy lunch in a cafe or restaurant.
Simply follow the cycle way travelling into Batemans Bay, over the bridge north veering off into Wharf Road. Continue along the roadway until you reach the end of Myamba Parade where you can dismount and walk along the Cullendulla Boardwalk. This is a wonderful walk that explores the wetlands; an extremely important aspect of the Batemans Bay ecosystem. The return journey is approximately 18 kilometres of sightseeing and enjoyment!
